The Korean Barber turned 1!
A year ago today, on September 1, 2013, the first post was published and ever since then, it has been a non-stop amazing journey!
First of all, thank you all followers, supporters, everyone in my photographs, and others I have met through TKB, you are simply amazing!
Here are some of the most memorable moments of the first year or TKB:
1) New York Times
Bill Cunningham is one of the reasons why started taking street fashion photography and to have some of my shots featured on thenytimes' Fashion & Style webpage was a true honour.
2) Project Real Beauty
I have always been self-conscious about my body image. It was only recent that I have been more comfortable accepting myself and be confident. Through lens, I have been able to capture the positivity of those who are inspirations to others. I hope to continue this project spreading the body positivity one shot at a time.
3) Style Democracy & Eyes Magazine
When I first started shooting street style shots with a point-and-shoot camera, I never have imagined that I would be shooting for websites. Thank you Style Democracy & Eyes Magazine for appreciating my work!
I am not religious, but I do have a bible, gq. When I saw a picture of myself on How GQ Are You’s Best-Dressed Readers of 2013 list. I was speechless. This one will stay with me for a while.
Today, I will reblog five most popular posts from this past year. I hope you enjoy a little travel back in time.
Again, thank every single one of you who have made this possible. I could not have done it without you.
